an artful approach to health
For years, I ran on overwhelm, high-functioning burnout, and the belief that I just needed to “try harder.” But eventually, my brain and body asked me to slow down—really slow down. What began as healing turned into a way of life.
I am on a continual journey of learning to slow down, literally smell the roses, touch grass, be inspired by art, and create more than I consume. All while documenting how these life changes affect not only my mental health, but physical health as well. Sometimes the best thing for our mind and body is to let go of perfectionism in our day to day life while embracing the beauty that is missed while we search for answers.
what’s new
A healthy lifestyle without all the gunk & guilt.
As someone who has been on an ongoing health journey, I found it time consuming and overwhelming to find the truth in midst of all the noise. I realized we are drowning in a world of extremes. Our choices are to hustle through life towards burnout or to dive head first into an overpriced crunchy lifestyle that means constantly thinking about the negative effects of our modern world. I’m more about balance: finding the good from both sides to mold it into a sustainable lifestyle. I have lived in both camps at different points in my life and think I do best somewhere in the middle. I want to live a life that is both healing through nature, slower in speed, and still brings in the benefits of modern solutions. I am weeding through all the bio-hacks, holistic, grounding, nervous system regulating, and whatever other trends are floating around. Join me in finding what is actually worth pursuing and leave the rest behind.
